Privacy
The ingredient lists you paste into the checkers on this site are never transmitted anywhere. The matching runs in your browser against a reference that was downloaded with the page, and the result exists only in that page until you close or clear it.
Why that is a design decision, not a policy promise
There is no server to send an ingredient list to. This site is a set of static files; it has no backend, no database and no API. A privacy policy that says “we do not store your data” depends on the operator keeping their word, whereas an architecture with nowhere to store it does not require you to take anyone's word for anything.
The practical consequence is that nothing you check can be recovered, by us or by anyone else, including you — refresh the page and the result is gone.
What is collected
No accounts, no sign-in, no email capture and no advertising trackers. If aggregate traffic analytics are added, they will be cookieless and page-level, meaning no identifier is stored on your device and no ingredient text is ever part of what is measured.
Links out
Pages here cite regulatory documents and link to the publishers of those documents. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else's site under their terms, and this page says nothing about what they do.
